The Hemlock Cosmic is a finely tuned, hand-tapered clout arrow, built specifically for long-distance shooting and peak performance at distances up to 180 yards and beyond. Designed to fly faster, flatter, and straighter, the Cosmic delivers exceptional consistency with reduced sensitivity to wind and weather conditions.
Crafted from premium hemlock, each shaft is individually tapered by hand to precise dimensions developed through extensive testing and refinement. This shape promotes fast recovery off the bow, drastically reducing the influence from archers’ paradox and improving aerodynamic efficiency — making the arrow effectively faster in flight.
Each arrow is fitted with:
A brass bullet point, available in light weights from 20gn to 50gn, depending on required dynamics
2" parabolic fletchings for minimal drag and clean long-range flight
An AAE Plastinock
This arrow is not available as a bare shaft, and is only offered as a complete build, due to the high level of tuning and balance required.
Because every aspect of the arrow's performance depends on your setup, it’s essential that you provide the following details with your order:
Accurate draw length (very important)
Bow type, make, and draw weight
Arrow length
Using this information, we apply a specialised tuning formula to ensure your Cosmic arrows are dynamically matched for optimal trajectory and performance.
Style 4 (Cosmic) Full Swirl Shaft with Crown
Style 4 – Full Swirl Shaft with Solid Crown & Accent Cresting
Style 4 features a striking combination of a full-length Hemlock Swirl finish and a bold, contrasting solid crown. The shaft is entirely hand-crafted in your choice of walnut or mahogany swirl, giving a warm, traditional look with dynamic texture.
The upper section of the shaft features a solid colour crown, available in any of the following:
black, white, yellow, orange, red, blue, purple, green, mahogany, or walnut.
A clean 1-inch black accent cresting separates the crown and swirl, adding a crisp, modern break between the two finishes. There is no fletching band in this style, keeping the look simple and clean.
As with all our styles, custom cresting colours are available on request.
